After a lazy day at Waikiki we are now getting ready to go on a dinner cruise (see link)

Below are links to two more sets of pictures from our first full day with Greg and Deb. We got up early, had a leisurely breakfast, then took their weekly cuttings to market. On the way we stopped to pick up some silicon gel for our underwater camera and saw the Monkey Butt powder. Just HAD to take a picture, but in retrospect I really should have bought some.
We dropped off the plants then went snorkeling at a great tide pool place in the middle of a lava flow. After a marvelous Mexican lunch we spent some time at the local Farmer's Market before heading home to be entertained by the dogs.

Day #3, post #2
As I type we are sitting in our room at the Waikiki Marriott, relaxing, looking at the view of the surfers, and thinking about getting ready to go to dinner at Duke's; http://www.dukeswaikiki.com/
Here are a couple of teasers. This is sunrise from their deck.
And this is their yard.
A flower at the Botanical Garden (note the spider on top...I didn't see him when I took the picture).

Here is a link to some pix from day one; http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=887dkyp.7whaj2r1&x=0&y=-69jldl&localeid=en_US
I love the ones from the plane as we took off from Honolulu to fly to Hilo...we were sure on the right (actually left) side of the plane!
High speed internet has not reached Greg and Deb's street yet, and between being busy and not having the patience to deal with dial-up, I'm just now able to start posting.

First Post; We leave tomorrow
We were up in Lake Wildwood for the weekend, and drove home Sunday afternoon to start packing. We couldn't arrive back in Brisbane too soon as there was an open house being held at our condo (Wanna buy? We'll give you a good deal!) Janna took today off to do some last minute shopping, get a haircut, and finish packing, while Steve went to work. We told the realtor 'no showing', and we were not going to leave out the lock box.
Yes, you guessed right. She (the realtor) called about 2:30pm and asked if we would mind if we had a showing in the evening. I guess it is a lady that wanted a 2nd look. We'll, we couldn't say no to that, but what a circus to get the place in 'showing order' again. We crammed the suitcases full (helter skelter) and I took them out to the car just to reduce the 'clutter'.
Now that the showing is over I have to go back out to get them so we can finish packing!
Time for some wine, cuz...WE'RE ON VACATION!!!
As a follow-up, our broker sent us an email at about 9:30pm saying the person that came by really likes the place and wants to come by next Friday with a friend to see it again. Our fingers are crossed!
